Styling, Hair & Make-up, wardrobe, locations and visual direction are considered before the shoot, creating a visual world that fits the person, the brand and the way the images need to work.

The approach is deliberately premium and individual. Depending on the project, the production can include Creative Direction, professional Styling, Hair & Make-up, film and carefully selected specialists. My background is in fashion, beauty, editorial and advertising, with more than 30 years of experience working with people in front of the camera. That experience still shapes my business photography today. Light, posture, movement, styling and visual direction are developed around the individual, their role and their business rather than a fixed template. The result is professional imagery with personality rather than interchangeable corporate portraits.

How does a business portrait session work?

Every production begins with a conversation. We define what the images need to communicate, where they will be used and how you want to be perceived. From there I develop the visual direction for the shoot. Depending on the production, we work in the studio, at your business or on location in Munich. During the shoot I guide expression, posture and movement when needed while leaving enough freedom for natural moments to happen.

What should I wear for business portraits?

Wardrobe is part of the visual language and is considered before the shoot. The right choices depend on your role, personality, brand and where the imagery will be used. Depending on the production, we can work with several looks. For larger Personal Branding or Executive productions, professional Styling and Hair & Make-up can be part of the team.

How should I prepare for the shoot?

Preparation begins long before I pick up the camera. We define the visual direction, wardrobe, looks, locations and content requirements in advance. This means that on production day we already know which images we want to create and how they need to work across your website, LinkedIn, PR, press or social media.

I don't know how to pose. Will it still work?

Most people in front of my camera are not professional models, and they do not need to be. Perfect posing is not required. I give exactly as much direction as needed with expression, posture, movement and presence while leaving enough freedom for the images to remain natural, confident and recognisably you.

Studio or on location in Munich?

Both are possible. Depending on the concept, we can work in the studio, at your company, in your office or at a carefully selected location. The location itself is not the point. What matters is whether it supports your personality, your brand and the visual world we want to create. I am based in Munich and work with selected clients across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and internationally.

Are usage rights included?

Usage rights are clearly defined for every production in the proposal. We consider where and how the imagery will be used, for example on your website and LinkedIn, in PR and press, presentations or other professional communication. This means the agreed usage is transparent before the production begins.
